Hello everyone.

The Mixed Reality Forums here are no longer being used or maintained.

There are a few other places we would like to direct you to for support, both from Microsoft and from the community.

The first way we want to connect with you is our mixed reality developer program, which you can sign up for at https://aka.ms/IWantMR.

For technical questions, please use Stack Overflow, and tag your questions using either hololens or windows-mixed-reality.

If you want to join in discussions, please do so in the HoloDevelopers Slack, which you can join by going to https://aka.ms/holodevelopers, or in our Microsoft Tech Communities forums at https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/mixed-reality/ct-p/MicrosoftMixedReality.

And always feel free to hit us up on Twitter @MxdRealityDev.

Voxel Editor

I've been working on a small puzzle game, and part if it includes a level editor, but a few people have mentioned to me, that I should turn the editor into a Voxel Editor as it is close.

What features would people like to see if I did turn it into a voxel editor, and what features are needed for a release.

It looks great so far! Add, remove, paint... Maybe a box add and box delete.

On another note, I just got my HoloLens, how do you do a recording like this?

    This companion app: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/apps/microsoft-hololens/9nblggh4qwnx

Or you can navigate to your hololen's IP address in a browser and record it without the app.

    @mark_grossnickle thanks,
@EgoAnt Add / Delete are in, adding some voice commands to make editing easier.
Also adding the ability to edit colors of the blocks. So blocks will be either textured or colored.

Adding a simple save system, which will save to a local directory, and when loading give a preview of the models (I think).

Not sure yet how to share the models. Thinking a web site people can upload to, so create an account and upload, or just upload given a name.

Coming along nicely. Adding Load / Save functionality and Edit Color for the voxels. But this has created a couple of interesting issues.

For both the UI Elements, I can create the UI nicely and placed in World Space, but for accurate use, need to follow the gaze with some sort of cursor on top of the UI. Updated my blog entry with the follow code I'm using.

Also how can I move this thread to the projects page.
