No sound in videos and music

I can run the Mixed Reality Portal just fine. The sound effects work just fine. I can switch the sound output to the laptop or the headset with headphones and both work. However, when I play regular videos using the "Movies & TV" app, I can see the video but hear no sound at all. Same issue when playing music from the Groove app (no sound). I am using the Samsung HMD with Fall Creators Update. Any advise?
