Anything to help tracking? Less clutter, fiducial markers?

Hey folks,

I was wondering what others have done to optimize tracking with their WMR headsets. Is a tidied up, less complex play space easier to track than a more complex play space? Can adding fiducial markers (QR codes?) or simple IR lights help tracking where needed, such as play space with less than optimal lighting?

Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

Hi, I am little confused about your requirement. What do you want for tracking in a WMR headset? The headset its self ? Or tracking gameobject in you game? Could you give us more information, so that we can help you better.

@Akira_Chen From my experience, the WMR headsets do not track well in dark nondescript rooms. Other than turning on the lights so the sensors can get a better idea of the surroundings, is it possible to setup something like low-powered IR LEDs in the room to help the sensors map the tracked area?

    Thanks!

@Akira_Chen I don't think this is a feature request, I think @mikochu is asking for advice to improve tracking on his headset.
