edited February 2018 in Troubleshooting

So i got my dell visor the other day and when i first unboxed it and set it up it was working perfectly fine, then I left to go do something for a couple hours came back only to find that the headset wouldn't work, i followed both troubleshooting flowcharts and i couldn't fix anything all i would get in the windows mixed reality setup is "Check your display cable" its plugged into the only HDMI port on my PC's graphics cards (GTX 960 4GB) and ive tried every USB 3.0 port on my PC except for the one on the front because it can reach from the 15 mins of use of the headset it was really good but its a shame that its not working now, ill put a list of things I did to try to fix the problem down bellow any help would be great thanks!

(I think it might be an issue with power delivery but i'm not sure)

Reset Computer - Still Persists
Update all drivers - Still Persists
Try Different USB Ports - Still Persists
Move onto an Insider Build - Still Persists

Same issue here - im running on a Dell inspiron 15 7000. The Visor worked fine for 2 days after unboxing but then windows stopped recognizing the USB 3 Port. When I run the WMR system check, it all looks good but when I try to connect it cant find the USB 3. I did manage to do something right at it worked for an hour but then same thing happened. Here is what I have done so far:

    Uninstalled all mixed reality apps.
    uninstalled all windows updates.
    reinstalled all usb drivers.
    updated my dell bios.
    tried every USB 3 port.

    no go...

@ErezC @DBCZ Any update on this one? Have you contacted Dell support? I am having similar issue, windows not detecting headset. Also the usb connector is really getting hot.
