Hello everyone.

The Mixed Reality Forums here are no longer being used or maintained.

There are a few other places we would like to direct you to for support, both from Microsoft and from the community.

The first way we want to connect with you is our mixed reality developer program, which you can sign up for at https://aka.ms/IWantMR.

For technical questions, please use Stack Overflow, and tag your questions using either hololens or windows-mixed-reality.

If you want to join in discussions, please do so in the HoloDevelopers Slack, which you can join by going to https://aka.ms/holodevelopers, or in our Microsoft Tech Communities forums at https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/mixed-reality/ct-p/MicrosoftMixedReality.

And always feel free to hit us up on Twitter @MxdRealityDev.

How can I mirror the 360 video the headset is watching on my laptop screen

We are using WMR for video review of 360 videos with athletes. The coach needs to be able to see the video on the laptop screen as the same time as the athlete is watching.

1) How can the coach see the 360 video the athlete is watching? We have tried the "preview" function on the desktop portal screen but it doesn't show anything when the athlete launches the 360 video.

2) Using the standard 360 player app or another player we can buy, can we have it so the coach can play/pause the video using the laptop keyboard that the athlete is viewing in the headset?

Please let me know what can be done! Our setup is a SB2 with a 1060. We are also fine using SteamVR if that would provide a solution to this problem.
