Outlook Email notifications

Hey guys,
is it somehow possible to notify the User inside a Unity App that she/he received a Mail in the Outlook app? So with Skype this seems to work out of the box, because you get notified that someone's calling even when you're inside the Unity app. But with Outlook nothing happens.
