Is it possible to spatial map a hologram?

I'm using the HoloLens emulator and I'm trying to work in a blank room rather than the ones provided. I notice the capture feature captures the spatial mapping of the room and saves it. So if I was to make a 3d model of a room, could I add spatial mapping to a hologram and save it as a room?

The spatial mapping is exclusively used for detecting, interpreting and reconstructing the surfaces of the environment via Hololens device only. With that being said, the 'rooms' provided by the emulator is only for simulation purposes rather than being a crucial building block for developing Hololens applications. Though, I don't understand what you mean by capture feature which I believe does not exist in the emulator. Anyway, the short answer is no.
