Have a look at that: https://forums.hololens.com/discussion/952/no-input-from-emulator
I do have the same problem. However I have no proxy servers in use, so that doesn't solve the problem for me. I do encounter this issue only when I am connected to my personal wifi at home. Then:
- no input is possible because the simulation isn't able to connect
- the device portal can't be reached (timeout)
- deploying apps isn't possible because Visual Studio can't connect either
There is no issue when connected to other wifi networks. Also when I connect my computer to my home network via Ethernet, everything works just fine. So it's neither a general wifi nor a general network problem - it appears only when connected to a specific network via wifi. Does anyone have a clue which settings might be responsible for that?
