Hi,
This question is a little bit off topic. But, what is the network adapter used for wlan in the HoloLens? I need the exact name of the manufacturer (is it Intel?) and the specific product name. On the specs it only says 802.11ac, and not any other details.

Yes - and also where it is at on the HoloLens.
In Formation, Inc.
I'm looking for the same information, and I can report at least what the network settings page says:
Broadcom 802.11ac Wireless PCIE Full Dongle Adapter
A google search for this lead me too:
https://download.lenovo.com/pccbbs/mobiles/n1cwd10w.txt
Which shows more information about the device:
11ac Wireless LAN M.2 Adapter (BCM4356 2230)
Where information can be found at:
https://www.broadcom.com/products/wireless-connectivity/wireless-lan/bcm4356
Hope this helps!
(with regards to where it is physically, I can't help)
