If you want to join in discussions, please do so in the HoloDevelopers Slack, which you can join by going to https://aka.ms/holodevelopers, or in our Microsoft Tech Communities forums at https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/mixed-reality/ct-p/MicrosoftMixedReality.

And always feel free to hit us up on Twitter @MxdRealityDev.

I would like to know, how to communicate b/w two hololens which are remotely placed ?

I have followed many threads which are categorized under sharing tag but couldn't find a suitable answer. All that i was able to find out was that one can use Azure / UNET for communicating remotely. Any help will be highly appreciated .
Thank you.

    Thank you.

What do you mean with "communicate"? Do you want to transfer simple data or want to share the holographic objects?

  • transfer simple data as of now ....like the transform etc . But in asynchronous collaboration we might a lot other stuff.. which i haven't thought about now :P. Mainly i want help in UNET. I am going through some tutorials in UNET from youtube. Will post here if i get stuck during development. Thnx !!

You said, that you use the SharingService from the HoloToolkit. Does this also work non-localy? If yes, how?
