login issues - always asking for user name and password on start

The HoloLens is now asking a user to enter the Microsoft user name and password on start-up. Is there a way around this? He cannot remember his password and has re-set it on-line. Can the device connect to wifi and recognize the new password?

If the device is connected to WiFi, you should be able to sign in with your new password. If it is not connected to WiFi, you'll need to use your old (cached) password.

We will try it. The device started on WIFI in California and is now in London. Hoping that he can connect, as the wifi user name and pwd are the same in both locations. Will let you know the results. Thanks!

In the worst-case, you can use the Windows Device Recovery Tool to re-flash the device and connect to Wi-Fi by going through the Out of Box Experience again.

I'm having the same issue and cannot log into the HoloLens. I can connect via my laptop. Would hate to have to flash the device. That is just sub par behavior :(
