UNET Timeout

I'm trying to use UNET to connect two HoloLens. The server device can run normally( can show the online scene ). But the other device, the client, cannot work well. After clicking on "Join LAN Game", the output shows a message "ClientDisconnected due to error: Timeout". It seems that the client cannot connect to the server device. Any ideas about that?

  • We had the same issue when using the company network. I assume due to all firewall and security and others, the system would discard packets from the session and resulted in timeout and disconnection.

We started using our own mobile hotspots instead and it has gone fine ever since.

  • @LucasSoftability Thanks for your answer. I'll try with mobile hotspots.
