Hello everyone.

The Mixed Reality Forums here are no longer being used or maintained.

There are a few other places we would like to direct you to for support, both from Microsoft and from the community.

The first way we want to connect with you is our mixed reality developer program, which you can sign up for at https://aka.ms/IWantMR.

For technical questions, please use Stack Overflow, and tag your questions using either hololens or windows-mixed-reality.

If you want to join in discussions, please do so in the HoloDevelopers Slack, which you can join by going to https://aka.ms/holodevelopers, or in our Microsoft Tech Communities forums at https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/mixed-reality/ct-p/MicrosoftMixedReality.

And always feel free to hit us up on Twitter @MxdRealityDev.

No spatial mapping?

Is it correct there currently is no spatial mapping in Actiongram? I kinda would assume it would be part of the app but I don't see it. This makes placing actiongrams really difficult if I don't want them floating or through the floor. Also I wanted to make a seasonal video so I placed the snow actiongram. But since there is no spatial mapping the flakes just go through everything including the floor. This breaks the illusion a bit.

    If holograms are going through the floor then that could mean 1 of 2 things (anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong);

    1. There is no spatial mapping in Actiongram.
    2. There is spatial mapping but there is no collision detection.

    Either way there seems to be nothing you can do about it unless Actiongram decide to add either of those things.

    Hope that helps.
