Product Innovator and Technologist seeks Training
Hi Everyone and thank you for looking at my question. I am a product designer who is beginning to explore AR and MR for product display and potential shopping opportunities. As I dive deeper into this new media I see several directions that could be useful. I was hoping for advice on finding training programs for hardware and software so I can have a little more depth as I create business ideas for the MR revolution. Thanks again.

For background on MR, definitely join the HoloLens dev community on facebook if you haven't already: https://www.facebook.com/groups/winholographicdevs/ and https://www.facebook.com/groups/HoloLensDevelopersWorldwide/
For skills, there's no better starting point than the HoloLens Academy: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/holographic/academy
Pluralsight has a nice intro to HoloLens video course: https://app.pluralsight.com/library/courses/hololens-development-fundamentals/table-of-contents
I'm working on a course for Lynda.com and there are several books coming out in the next few months: https://www.amazon.com/HoloLens-Beginner-Guide-Jason-Odom/dp/1786464721/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1488135312&sr=8-10&keywords=hololens and https://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-HoloLens-Developers-Dennis-Vroegop-ebook/dp/B01MUP8J5E/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1488135348&sr=8-1&keywords=dennis+vroegop
