I want to place my gameObjects like in ,,Fragments" game.
Hi ,
I want to place my gameObjects like in ,,Fragments" game.
I see that holoLens can recognize wall,ceiling,table,chair etc.
for example : When I turn on my app I want to find the coodinates of the nearest table and instantiate there a static animal , find the wall and place a man next to it etc.
I think that holoLens schould receive me infromation about those cooridnates in a simple function but I couldn't find where.
Please help !

@Pawello,
You may find the Spatial Understanding component from the HoloToolkit-Unity to be helpful. It can help your application to recognize floors, walls, etc.I suggest taking a look at the Spatial Understanding example to help get you started.
Thanks!

The APIs you want to use are called Spatial Understanding. There are a number of topics in this forum that you can use as a starting point if you just search for 'Spatial Understanding'.
Be aware that it doesn't recognize things like a Table, but it does recognize walls, ceilings, floors and "sittable" locations.

Whoops, sorry David. I guess I had this tab opened too long and didn't see that you replied. David is pointing to some great resources. I'll mark his post as the answer.
