Most stable object tracking

Hi all,

I'm about to started a project where I need to use object tracking, either with QR/VuMark code etc, but haven't found one where the tracking is very stable. Does anyone have any experience with this?
What I need to track is in arms length from the HoloLens, the shape etc isn't too important, but the size can be much bigger than a hand. Does anyone know what is the best trackable object/mark in terms of consistent tracking?

If anyone have any experience with all this, I would appreciate any tips etc.

Thank you!
