TapToPlace Anchoring wonky?

Created a completely new scene. I Dragged in the Holokit Camera.I set up an empty game object for spatial mapping manager, input manager, and world anchor manager. I parent a cube with an empty object. Then I added tap to place on the cube. As soon as I press play, the cube jumps to some random position that I never set up. Also, whenever I try placing the cube down with tap to place, the cube does not set to the position to where I tapped, but instead goes to that random position from the start.

Answers

  • Is your Anchor object on the cube's parent game object? (or is the cube a child of an object that holds your anchor?) If so, remove the anchor first, place your cube, and re-add your anchor.
