How to send some data from my HoloLens to my PC?

Now, I want to sent some data from my HoloLens to my PC in my program. At current, I can downloaded my program from my PC to my HoloLens equipment through wi-fi. When I use my HoloLens and touch some virtual things it will send some data to my PC through the Wi-fi. Can you help me?

There are a few ways to do this but the quickest would be to modify the sharing code in the HoloToolkit and use the sharing service exe. There are lots of variations on this but I especially like Michelle Ma's. The hololens telepresence article on the windows blog walks through many of the different resources for learning how to send messages from your hololens to your PC: https://blogs.windows.com/buildingapps/2017/04/18/building-telepresence-app-hololens-kinect/

  • My Hololens doesn't answer anything. All firewalls are off and I can see packets on the network. Hololens is just quiet. Nothing. Tried UDP, TCP, Examples, own code. Works fine in Windows 10, but never in Hololens (although it is UWP).
