ACER Mixed reality headsets - can they bring "Reality" into VR or are they "just" VR 2.0?
Recently saw these ACER Mixed reality headsets and wondered if they can solve the problem recently raised in my earlier q? I didn't make that clear so the answer was about Hololens, which could never work for the application.
Ideally I want to have a dual camera feed showing a 3d image of the car the person is in and out the windows / mirrors be the conventional "need for speed underground" or similar VR world. Will this tech do it? Any particular pointers on how?

Hey @VinceS ,
There are two main types of devices that deliver Windows Mixed Reality experiences:
- Holographic devices. These are characterized by the device's ability to place digital content in the real world as if it were really there.
- Immersive devices. These are characterized by the device's ability to create a sense of "presence" – hiding the physical world and replacing it with a digital experience.
Please see this documentation: Mixed reality

The Acer headset belongs to the Immersive Devices, in my experience, it can make your idea works.
