Any fix regarding immersive headset display not showing anything ?

From time to time, the immersive headset display seems like turned off. Nothing is displayed at all, like it was not powered on, while in the mixed reality portal (windows 10 desktop) it's clearly running and handling headset transforms.

What's weird is that it happens after an earlier working session, and cables were not unplugged in-between. I feel like there might an issue when the headset/computer is going to sleep.

Any information about this ?

Answers

  • Is an app running at the time ?
Is it completely black ? did you see the boundary cube ?

  • The shell is running, I can see it on the computer. But I do not see anything when wearing the headset (no boundaries, no mouse, nothing).

  • That sounds like an issue. Sorry I am not much of help.

  • What version of Windows 10 Insider are you running (16241 20th July 2017 ) had huge update for Mixed Reality Portal. Hmm could be unstable for normal work so you will need a partition on Windows 10 Release level.
