HP Mixed Reality Headset video cameras
The video cameras of HP mixed reality headset can be used to create AR, or this headset is only good for VR and the cameras are there just to detect movement ?

The video cameras are there just to detect movement. This headset is only good for VR. Microsoft calls the brand Mixed Reality because it includes both VR (immersive) devices like this, and also AR devices like Hololens.
