Set floor height?

Acer headset, build 16257. Is there a way to adjust the floor height?

Ok, so while in the cliff house, open the start menu and go to all apps. There is an app that I think is called Room Adjustment that will let you adjust floor height. I think that will likely solve your issue.

  • In your app or in the cliff house?
  • In the cliff house and holotour. In both apps, the floor seems to be the same height, but it's never right. If I scan my room with the headset at my chest, then the virtual floor is above the physical floor (if I squat down, the virtual floor is above my head). If I scan my room with the headset at my head, then the virtual floor is below the physical floor (if I squat down, the virtual floor is below the actual floor).

Some demos are much worse if the floor height is wrong (e.g. when the floor drops in the Rome holotour). Especially when demoing to people with different heights - it seems that the absolute vertical positioning of the headset is accurate, but it doesn't correspond to the physical floor.

  • Thanks! Upgraded to 16273, and now nothing works, but sounds like that would fix the issue. If the next build brings thing back, I'll try again.

  • What do you mean by nothing works?

  • Confirmed that "Room Adjustment" is the answer, as of build 16278. Thanks Jesse!
