Far Clipping Plane Forced to ~20 meters/units?
Using Unity 2017.2.0b8 with a simple grid terrain and the default scene camera with the far clipping set to 1000. Anyone see this being a forced restriction in the docs/notes? or is this a bug/limitation? Anyone managed to get 100 meters far clipping set? Thanks.

There is a bug that was introduced in 2017.2.0b7 that has the far clipping plane set at 20m in kind of an oval shape in front of the camera. It's been logged as a known issue by Unity.

Good to know it's a far clip bug/regression in Unity.
I updated to Unity 2017.2.0b9 -- too bad the regression is still there so I have to keep objects within 20 meters/units.
Hi, same problem here and it seems to be impossible to change the value at runtime. It freezes the game for me. If I try to change it in the Awake/Start function, the screen is just black. I hope that the Unity team will fix that quickly.

Updated to Unity 2017.2.0b10 (Beta) - issue finally resolved, not limited to 20m far clipping anymore.
