  • @Dumazinho92 according to the FAQ:

At this time, HoloLens is available in English language only.

  • Hi, any news on this matter? I've been developing a hololens app with English voice commands but now I also need Spanish support, so I would like to know if Spanish is going to be supported any time soon so I can wait for this new feature or better start integrating some other technology by myself to achieve this.

Thanks in advance, it's been amazing to develop for hololens.

  • There's been no announcements about other languages being supported. Definitely start looking at other solutions.

Are there any "other" standalone solutions (not using cloud services)?

  • He wrote "other solutions" because he didnt want to write "I have to ducking Idea what you could do about it". I am working at Hololens Speech Recognition myself, and there is no magical other solution if you want to have a local Speech Recognition with another language than en-US sadly :-(

  • According to these release notes for 10 October 2018 update, Hololens voice recognition is not English only anymore:

You can now use HoloLens with localized user interface for Simplified Chinese or Japanese, including localized Pinyin keyboard, dictation, text-to-speech (TTS), and voice commands.

That is still of no use if you want French or Spanish, though...
