How to use the gamepad or the keyboard?

Hello everybody,
Today I try to use the gamepad or the keyboard with an Unity game. The mouse works when I click few time (it gains focus), but I don't know how to do the same thing for the Keyboard and the Gamepad.

I start the application from Visual Studio or directly in VR from the Mixed Reality Portal.

Any idea?

Thanks

  • After you hit play in the editor and your app launches in the headset, you need to flip up your headset, click back into the game window in unity to give it focus, and then you can flip your headset back down. Controls should then work.

  • As I said, the game was started from Visual Studio (Unity was closed) or from the start menu in the Mixed reality Portal. I tried to disable all inputs from the simulator, but it changes Nothing.

  • OK, I use a plugin called InControl, it seems to doesn't work with UWP.

  • You've to get focus on the Windows MR portal if you try from Visual Studio. My problem was different because it was caused by an incompatible plugin.
