SharingService - SyncPrimitives

Does anyone know, how to use SyncPrimitives / SyncObjects from HoloToolkit? All i'm trying to do is use SyncInteger, so that when player 1 changes it, player 2 has it updated as well, but with no success so far. Is there maybe any documentation on that? There's only some basic info on github.
