Is the spatial mapping available on any immersive headset ?

Hi,
I can't find back my source, but I read that spatial mapping and spatial understanding were not available at least on the first Acer headsets. Is it true ? Is this feature available on another headset ?

    Same question here
  • It is not available that I know of.

  • They are not available on any of the current generations of HMDs. There are things you can do if you want to act on digital objects like they are real world objects, by putting them in the spatial mapping layer, but there is no actual spatial mapping capabilities.

  • Thank you for your answer.
My idea was to put objects on the non-empty places of the room, to prevent the user of the danger (walls or furniture). Is there at least a way to be aware of the walls (like in the Vive) or of the distance to the ground ?
