Windows 7 and Hololens + Hyper-V

reposting an answered question (the answer is not relevant to me @larsonmattr ):

I am trying to install on Windows 7 Professional with no luck.
1) I've installed Visual Studio 2015,
2) I've installed the remote administrator tools and enabled Hyper-V (I think my problems are with Hyper-V still).

The installer for the hololens emulator reaches 43% and fails with this message:
"We can't detect whether your PC supports hardware virtualization. You may need to enable it. For more information, see MSDN article at "http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=247585".

As far as I can tell, Hyper-V is enabled.. so...?

I can't upgrade to Windows 10 since I'm part of a big organization.

    Hi @MosheS ,
In the BIOS, the following features must be supported and enabled:
    Hardware-assisted virtualization
    Second Level Address Translation (SLAT)
    Hardware-based Data Execution Prevention (DEP)
GPU (The emulator might work with an unsupported GPU, but will be significantly slower)
    DirectX 11.0 or later
    WDDM 1.2 driver or later

Here you have all needed information. They recommend Windows 10 but I do not see that is mandatory.

Windows 10 pro is required for the emulator to work. I had to upgrade my laptop to Windows 10 pro, and I'm using a VM to remote desktop into it from my Windows 7 machine.

VMs can't really run Hyper-V, so setting up one running 10 really isn't an option here either.

    Thanks!
    It's not clear from this:
    https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/holographic/install_the_tools

For example, WDDM 1.2 is only from Windows 8 but it's still mentioned that Windows 7 can run it in some way..

So is this the official answer from Microsoft?
That I have to have Windows 10 to use the emulator?
It is written clearly somewhere? (It's only mentioned that the SDK is supported on Windows 7)
