Project idea
I’m considering developing something for a moving company using hololens technology to quickly collect object sizes and efficiently determine best packing configurations. Do you guys think this technology could prove practical and effective?

One suggestion I would have is to consider the lighting of various rooms. You might get some low quality results in very poorly lit rooms, like a garage, or overly bright rooms, like a greenhouse or sunroof type situation. The HoloLens performs terribly outdoors. Other than that, it sounds like a fantastic idea for the average use case!
