Spectator View calibration, picture isn't taken

edited January 2018 in Questions And Answers

Hi, I tried to implement spectator view that utilizes webcam through MixedRealityCompanionKit library and ended up with some troubles.
I think the library document is well-organized but somehow running Calibration solution makes an error in release mode x86 that prints "picture isn't taken"

The document says "If a checkerboard with the expected grid dimension is in view, a picture will automatically be taken from the HoloLens' and camera's perspectives."

Also, Hololens view is default view. is it normal?
I don't know what I'm missing here.
Any comment would be really helpful

Thank you, in advance!.

I always open the device portal. So it didn't work.
When I close the device portal, it works
