Mixed Reality 250 has one big Error after trying to deploy

Hello,

I was trying to do the Mixed Reality 250 Academy from Microsoft and in Chapter one I already get stuck because of one big Error Message.

Is anybody else experiencing this Error after deploying with Visual Studio ? There are annother 19 Warning Messages but I think the one Errormessage is enough to begin with :pensive:

The Message ist attached as an extra File because it's too big.

Hope somebody can help me.

Regards
OptiLenso

  • According to your error, it seems you are facing the same issue here: .NET scripting backend and Visual Studio 2017.3 incompatibility.

Upgrade your Unity should be able to fix this issue. Currently, the Mixed Reality 250 project used Unity 2017.2.0f2-MRTP. You can use a version later than this from 2017.2 Mixed Reality Technical Preview builds. Also, you can use Unity 2017.3 which is Microsoft recommends against for now.

  • Thank you @JayZuo for the answer.

The problem is, I am already using Unity 2017.3 (0f3).
I updated my Unity anyway. But as expected the Error is still there.

    Any other suggestions?

  • Thanks @JayZuo

After Testing a while I got the same problem on my other projects. So I updated Unity to 2017.3.0p1 and after that it worked again.

I also tested the Mixed Reality 250 again, but still the same big Error message.
