Can't make the demo work

Hi, and first of all happy new year to all.
I run on w10 falls update, i5, GTX 980 drivers 388.71 and no mater what I try, I can't make the demo install & work.
All marked are green so my system is compatible. When I select install demo, it downloads everything (about 1Gb), reach 100% and the the WMR portal app closes (crashes?).
When I launch the app again, it displays the splash screen and the crashes again.
My question is : is the closing of the app without any message normal ? If not, how could i fix it and what could be wrong in my system?
I am in dev mode in windows

PS : I also stopped my anti virus software during install/launch
had to reinstall windows then it worked...
