Sharing a hologram with other HoloLens users?

Hello, I have a feature request for the 3D viewer beta. I was wondering if it would be possible for a user to share their hologram of a loaded model with other users, so multiple people can view the same object simultaneously.

At the NIH, we are using the 3D viewer beta to display molecular models derived from crystallographic data. It would be exceptionally valuable if two or more researchers could view and interact with the same object simultaneously. I think this feature would add a lot of value for everyone, so we can discuss the models we have loaded!

Thanks for your consideration.

  • I would be very interested in this feature as well. We are currently using this app to view 3D anatomic models and would love to have multiple Hololens see the same thing.
