Hi @AravindSiva ,
if you are working with Unity, you need to pack your desired GameObject into an AssetBundle.
https://docs.unity3d.com/550/Documentation/Manual/BuildingAssetBundles.html
Afterwards, this should help you loading it from the server
https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/UnityWebRequest-DownloadingAssetBundle.html
PS.: Reading the manual sometimes helps :-P
Thanks @pstueven for the response, But I want to get 3D objects dynamically from the server. My scenario is to get the Game Object from server and load in the scene.
Hi @AravindSiva ,
this is exactly what this is about. Export each of them as an AssetBundle and put them on your webserver. Then use a WebRequest to fetch the bundle and get an AssetBundle using DownloadHandlerAssetBundle.GetContent();
Then you can get the GameObject calling LoadAsset(objectName); on the AssetBundle.
Worked fine for me
Got it. It works! Thanks @pstueven
