Using Mixed Reality Toolkit with Unity 5.6.0
I have been developing things with the Hololens using Unity 5.6.0. (I had big and unsolved problems trying to use Unity 2017.1- Could not find a solution so uninstalled it)
Now I would like to try the Mixed Reality Toolkit. I have not read how to do it yet (will do that from today) but I am concerned if I can use it with my old version of unity.
Any comment on how to do it, will be greatly appreciated

The MRTK team has worked to ensure compatibility with Unity from 5.6 through 2018.1. That said, not all features will work in all versions of Unity. For example, support for Windows Mixed Reality immersive headsets was not introduced until Unity 2017.2.
For the current (2017.4.0.0) release, we recommend using Unity 2017.4 or newer for the richest device and feature support.
If you encounter issues with Unity 5.6, please do not hesitate to file an issue on GitHub.
Thanks!
