Short Throw Depth data as depth image

Hi all,

I am recording the short throw depth images using HololensForCV. I am then reading the pgm files with Matlab but I dont really know how ich change the image to an actual depth image with distances. Can anyone help me with that.

Best regards

I am also looking for the date meaning of pgm file. I find that in 'HoloLensForCV-master\Samples\SensorStreamViewer\FrameRender.cpp' the code takes pixel data in the range of 0 to 4000 as valid and takes each pixel data divided by 1000 as depth. However, I am not quite sure about the accuracy of this processing method. Can anyone provide a more reliable answer to this question.
