Sharing holograms between HoloLens and smartphone
Hi everyone,
I would like to establish a communication between HoloLens and a smartphone, so that I can see the holograms in the smartphone and interact with them (and possibly exchanging other data between the devices). Does the sharing module of the toolkit allow me to do that, or is there another way without designing the whole thing from scratch?

It might be worth taking a look at the updated Spectator View project which does this across HoloLens and an iOS device.
I have to admit that, at the time of writing, I haven't used it myself as I have only used the "Spectator View Pro" solution which involves HoloLens devices and a DSLR.
I think the principle here though is that if you can establish a common co-ordinate system across the HoloLens device & the iOS device then you should be able to get this to work and that is what the Spectator View (non Pro) solution does as far as I understand it and if I read the documentation correctly then this is done by having the HoloLens scan a QR code off the screen of the iOS device which then allows the HoloLens to figure out where in space the iOS device is and thus establish that common co-ordinate system.
I hope that helps.

Thank you, I'm taking a look. I hope there is the possibility to interact with the holograms (if I understood well with spectator view I can only see them), or at least the possibility to send some commands from the smartphone to the HoloLens device.
