Using HoloLens as 3D Scanner - with texture output?

Can we extract spatial mesh with a mapped texture? Is there an app that would work as a 3D scanner like that already available to download / purchase? I have only found this project https://github.com/ywj7931/Hololens_Image_Based_Texture
but the result is not optimal.

There is an called spacecatcher that will export your spatial mesh as an OBJ file - but it has some limitations. You can also get the OBJ from the developer portal. To apply a texture you will really need to put the obj file through something like 3DS Max.

In the version 2.5 of SpaceCatcher you can take pictures within HoloLens and use it as RGB texture.
