  • @Jesse_McCulloch mod,thank you,i have solved it.

  • Hello, I have the same problem. How do you solve it?

  • @JgLee Google "windows 10 media creation tool", from the link windows 10 media creation tool
Disconnect all the Windows Mixed reality headsets
Run the program select "upgrade this computer", follow the instructions to install the upgrade. (Don't turn off your computer or let your computer sleep or use a screen saver) When finished you log in using your MSA account as usual. Plug in your Windows Mixed reality headset, the drivers configured for the USB then install the WMR Headset.
You cannot upgrade a Company work computer WMR software expects standalone non-domain with Administrative rights, most work computers are Enterprise versions which do not contain WMR software and the USB ports are blocked, from use except for USB Storage sticks.

  • I have a work computer with Windows 10 Enterprise, but I am supposed to work with the toolkit for Unity. So, I downloaded and imported HoloToolkit 2017.4.3.0 from here, and then imported it into Unity 2017.4.10f1 and I get the same error message, so I wonder if I should still follow your suggested steps? I am asking because I am worried upgrading my machine might cause problems for my other VR and AR programs that I use with Unity 2018.2.17f1...

  • @junqiangchen Hi, Did you upgrade without any problems? Would you be so kind to detail the steps you took, mention if the upgrade caused any trouble for any of your programs, etc...? Thanks
