you can use the Sysinfo Tools Gmail Backup utility
You can also Save Gmail emails as PDF, HTML, EML, EML, TXT, MSG, MBOX, etc. with this tool and Export Gmail contacts to Thunderbird, Outlook, Yahoo, etc.
