Variations in brightness of pinned 2D apps
Hi All,
I've noticed that when I have a 2D app pinned on the wall, whenever I turn away from the app so it is out of my view and after a short period when I return, I notice that the image brightness degrades. This appears to happen randomly and within environments of varying brightness.
Below is an image to view. Is this normal behaviour?
Thanks,
Jason

Jasonthis appears to be a new UX feature that came with the test flight. I'm not sure if it's just aesthetic or if it's supposed to communicate how "stale" the app state is.
one of the new features in the test flight os update is support for multiple 2d apps running w/o being frozen in the background. that's my guess if it's supposed to convey state. similarly, you get a zzz over the moon cursor when mousing over a slept app tile. they are trying to address the usability issue of not being able to determine whether an 2d app is sleeping when not in focus.

@wintermoot Thank you kindly, that's a good hypothesis considering the zzz over the moon cursor which I didn't even notice. If I recall, I think the diagonal gradient pattern started to occur while I was actually using the app when it was pinned on an adjacent wall. I'll keep an eye open to observe the behaviour of the app in various states.
