Installation of HoloLens Emulator
Installation of the emulator fails about 47% of the way through the installation green ribbon. The log says the following:
Error 0x80070643: Failed to install MSI package.
Can anyone tell me what went wrong here? What is the MSI package? Is there a way to check to see if it is missing from where the installer is looking for it? How can I move ahead?

There are multiple aspects of the installation of the emulator that are poorly documented or even undocumented. Here are a few things to keep in mind:
- You need to be running Windows 10 Pro or above. Windows 10 Home will not work.
- You need at least 8 GB of RAM.
- Your computer's BIOS must have virtualization enabled.
- in Windows Features on or off, you much check the Hyper-V box.
- You must have Visual Studio 2015 Update 1 on your machine.
- You must have Universal Windows Platform version 1.2. This comes with Visual Studio 2015 Update 1.
If you have done all these things and are also lucky, the HoloLens Emulator will install successfully.

I have just noticed you are using an install package version v10.1.11082. That's may versions older than the one will be on release day. Is it a beta package you are loading. Anyway go to Setting -> Update & Security -> Click Check for updates and load latest build, 14291 ( as of 20th March 2016). Get you machine ready for the real HoloLens Emulator at https://dev.windows.com/en-US/holographic/install_the_tools

I followed your link to install_the_tools and it says "The download is coming soon." I got my beta version installed by figuring out the .cmd file was corrupted. However, I would like to get the latest build. How can I do that?
