Major Failure: HoloLens will not boot up

After working fine earlier in the day, now the HoloLens will not boot up. It shows the "trying to map surroundings" icon until it times out and turns off. This happens either when connected by USB or not. I am dead in the water. Can this be fixed? I need a working HoloLens.

What's the battery level at? Can you connect to the Device Portal page on the device?

You can try turning it off by holding the power button down for 30 seconds, and then wait, and then turn it on.

Held power button down for about 35 seconds, then HoloLens said Hello and booted up. I never took my finger off the power button before it said Hello. Device portal said my battery was at 100%. No surprise, since USB was plugged in since before the boot failure.
