Windows 10 Build 14388 (version 1607) and HoloLens Emulator
I have just updated my Desktop for HoloLens Emulator to Build 14388. I have encountered several problems, when trying to deploy solution to HoloLens Emulator from Visual Studio 2015 Community.
Error 1. the Trying to Map your Environment message just run continuously.
Answer 1. Restart your PC. Login try to same procedure again, fails. Restart your PC for second time. Login try to same procedure again, gets past error. Now another problem
Error 2. When trying to deploy solution to HoloLens Emulator from Visual Studio 2015 Community the HoloLens Bloom does not appear.
Left for 3 hours still can see why ran Hyper-V Manager everything seems OK, cannot open Windows device portal

Great News there is a simple answer!.
Make sure you have Hyper-V Manager going.
Open command Prompt using Run as Administrator
Copy this command into Notepad and replace YOURUSERNAME, for example "c:\User\Jimbo\" then paste into command prompt and execute after about 180 seconds should show HoloLens Bloom"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft XDE\10.0.14342.0\XDE.exe" /name "HoloLens Emulator 10.0.14342.1018.YOURUSERNAME" /displayName "HoloLens Emulator 10.0.14342.1018" /vhd "C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10\Emulation\HoloLens\10.0.14342.1018\flash.vhd" /video "1268x720" /memsize 2048 /language 409 /creatediffdisk "C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\XDE\10.0.14342.1018\dd.1268x720.2048.vhd" /fastShutdown /sku HDE
You can see the HoloLens Emulator start in Hyper-V Manager.
Click to globe to start Windows Device Portal ManagerYou can now Deploy the Solution from Visual Studio to HoloLens Emulator. The select Apps and from the drop down, in my case ModelExplorer, and start the app. This runs properly now, just as in previous Windows 10 Builds.
Thanks
