Hello everyone.

The Mixed Reality Forums here are no longer being used or maintained.

There are a few other places we would like to direct you to for support, both from Microsoft and from the community.

The first way we want to connect with you is our mixed reality developer program, which you can sign up for at https://aka.ms/IWantMR.

For technical questions, please use Stack Overflow, and tag your questions using either hololens or windows-mixed-reality.

If you want to join in discussions, please do so in the HoloDevelopers Slack, which you can join by going to https://aka.ms/holodevelopers, or in our Microsoft Tech Communities forums at https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/mixed-reality/ct-p/MicrosoftMixedReality.

And always feel free to hit us up on Twitter @MxdRealityDev.

assembly-csharp.dll not created

:s I followed the instructions on the Microsoft website to the letter (https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/holographic/holograms_100) and yet when I run without debugging with an emulator I get 5 errors, saying cannot find metadata file assembly-csharp.dll? After looking in the path and elsewhere, I cannot find it either. It has ceased to be.

Any help with this would be well received, many thanks,

Which solution did you open? There is one solution in the root of your unity project that opens when you double click a script in unity, you can not build that and deploy. There is another solution that gets created when you build in Unity. If you followed the tutorial it is in a folder called "App" from your unity solution file. That is the one you should build and deploy... Let us know if that was the problem...

Try moving the project folder to your root, and then generating the Visual Studio's project from Unity. I had a similar issue and that turned out to be the problem.
