While streaming from Hololens the resolution on the glasses decrease

Hello Holo developers,

i would like to know if it is possible to have control over the displayed resolution on Hololens while streaming?
Currently tried using the Microsoft Hololens Companion app from the Windows Store and the Device Portal page, with both of them the streaming resolution was automatically decreased. As i understand it's being done to keep the Hololens perform better, but in a case where the original picture quality inside Hololens is essential, can that be changed?

Thanks!
Janis

  • @Janis I am not sure whether it's possible to control this via an API, but I've noticed that the resolution is only decreased in the right display while using Mixed Reality Capture, the left eye still showing graphics at the original resolution.
