Hello everyone.

The Mixed Reality Forums here are no longer being used or maintained.

There are a few other places we would like to direct you to for support, both from Microsoft and from the community.

The first way we want to connect with you is our mixed reality developer program, which you can sign up for at https://aka.ms/IWantMR.

For technical questions, please use Stack Overflow, and tag your questions using either hololens or windows-mixed-reality.

If you want to join in discussions, please do so in the HoloDevelopers Slack, which you can join by going to https://aka.ms/holodevelopers, or in our Microsoft Tech Communities forums at https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/mixed-reality/ct-p/MicrosoftMixedReality.

And always feel free to hit us up on Twitter @MxdRealityDev.

Bio: I teach students how to think meaningfully about communication and problem solving through game development and computer science. While there are many specific discrete skills that students need to learn, I try to base my classroom experiences with kids around problems that they can tackle. In my program kids work with Java, C#, Game Maker Language, and some Python. We use Unity, Game Maker Studio, Greenfoot, and some Eclipse as our main development environments. We also use Maya, 3DS Max, Motion Builder, Autodesk Inventor (and 123) to do 3D asset creation. We have a Vicon optical motion capture system that uses Blade and we develop for the Oculus, Meta Dev Kit 1 (and a Dev Kit 2 is on the way), and now will be developing for the HoloLens as well. We are looking forward to learning from and with you on this very cool journey. I teach at Palmer High School in Colorado Springs.
