Unity HoloLens beta license
What is the licensing agreement with the Unity HoloLens beta release?
Normally for Unity there is the Personal (free) and Professional (paid) licenses.
It's not clear if this also applied to a beta release.
Thanks,
Jason

@veganjay the download page says:
With this preview you are free to upload and sell content on Microsoft’s Windows Store.
So it looks like the HoloLens beta is much the same as the other Windows Store platforms when it comes to Unity licensing. Pretty much all free and all included in either the free or pro versions.

@veganjay when I installed the beta on a separate machine it asked all of the same license questions that the normal Unity install asks. The same EULA seems to apply.
So I believe the answer is yes, if you are using it for professional purposes that fall inside the pro version requirements you should use a pro license for it. Likewise, if your use is personal interest or falls into the allowed "free" use category then the free personal edition would suffice.
It might help to look at it in the light that the Unity product and editor itself is not Beta, the HoloLens features are what are in Beta, but those features still require leveraging the Unity 5 development platform which has been in release for some time and are subject to the Unity 5 EULA.

@HoloSheep
Thanks for the answer - to clarify, my company is planning on doing HoloLens development. According to the Unity license, it sounds like we fall into the Unity Professional category.
I thought that being this is a beta, it would not require a Unity Professional license. But from what you are saying, it still does require a Unity Professional license, correct?
