Do I need to have windows 10 Pro/Education to develop hololens?

Hello guys,

I notice that the emulator needs Hyper-V, which needs windows 10 Pro/Education version. If we have the device at hand, which means the emulator is not that necessary, do we still need windows 10 Pro/Education version? May try out later but why not ask since someone may already did it.

@HoloSheep, Thank you for the answer but now the issue is I install the VS2015 update 2, and Unity Preview. But I haven't installed the Emulator at all (Actually I cannot install it, since it will fail in my WIn 10 home version).

However, I stucked at Unity when I need to choose the Virtual Reality SDK, there is no Microsoft Hololens in the choice. And in my Player setting I do not see the specialPerception check box.

Did this happen to you before?

@HoloSheep @DavidKlineMS , Thanks you guys, after I installed Unity 5.4 HTP the problem is resolved. I was wrong due to that I just directly to go the Unity website and install their newest beta version, rather than the one specific designed for Hololens.
