@ddobric I have upgraded several devices with the May update and they did require a sign-in after the first initial reboot when the update completed, however I can confidently say that none of these devices have required sign in after turning them back on from typical "Hey Cortana Shut Down" style shut downs, or typical press on/off button until the 5 lights go out style shut downs since that initial required sign on.

For the record they had the default sign-in option of "Require sign in" turned off prior to the update and I did not change that setting afterwards.

So basically the May update required me to enter my sign on credential information twice but only twice per device.

Are you sure that your devices are requiring sign-in more than twice after the update?

Can you share more about the state of your Sign-in options before installing the update and if and how you may have adjusted them afterwards?

Yes. Your organization can set policies that require you to enter your password on unlock. Consider setting a PIN on the device so that you don't have to enter a lengthy password each time if the policy is set.
